A potential client approached me about photography needed for a new website for a group of radiation oncologists. The client was one of the physicians in the practice, so not a graphics professional. Although he had a fairly good sense of what he wanted to accomplish, he had never been involved in an advertising photo shoot.
When we met, I helped him hone his vision of how the photos should look, what message they should communicate, and what the process would be like. Working with his administrative staff, we scheduled shoots of 19 physicians in 8 locations. Working on extremely tight physicians’ schedules in demanding healthcare environments we produced environmental portraits, headshots against seamless, and various clinical shots. For me, the clinical photos are really powerful in black and white. I hope they use them that way.
